Snag It Image Capture

A lot of my posts with images will work around the tool snag it. This tool helps me take snapshots of current work on my computer and quickly edit them for display on the web. I often want to quickly mark up my computer screen with comments or circle sections so other users can see in an image the item I am talking about.

You'll see snag it created images through out all my blogs since this has been the fastest way for me to get my images on line.

The new release from TechSmith is Snag It 9. I have been previously using snag-it 8 which has worked great. This will be my first experience with snag it 9, and will discuss my likes and dislikes with the new release.

Snag it 9 installs easily on a windows machine. After the product is installed it will automatically run in the background.

To capture images from your computer simply click the "PrtSc" button to bring up snag it.

Working with images online

This blog will discuss tips and tricks to working with images online. I will discuss it mostly from my perspective of using images with blogs to quickly get images on blogs for tutorials but most of the principals will apply to other areas of image work.
